The WBD Global Content Operations (GCO) runs worldwide post-production services and sources, creates, customizes and localizes all content from our studios, producers, marketers and 3rd party distributors to delivers for all our content outlets globally across Streaming, TV Networks, Theatrical exhibitors, Home Entertainment Licensing Clients, Marketing, Advertising and Publicity.  We operate post-production across US, Latam and Europe, and the content supply chain for over 3000 content platforms, 600 channels, 18 of our own streaming platforms and theaters across the world in over 200 territories and localizing content in over 68 languages. The Operations Change Management Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic transformation initiatives across Global Content Operations (GCO) from a change management perspective.  The ideal candidate will partner directly with GCO’s leadership team, technology partners and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of business goals and operational changes. This position will be responsible for aligning change initiatives with GCO’s leadership team to support the Target Operating Model.  The Change Management Lead will define comprehensive change management strategies to ensure consistency in approach and execution across the team. In addition, the Change Management Lead, working closely with the VP of Operations Strategy and Change, will be responsible for reshaping the Change Management function within Global Content Operations (GCO). This includes ensuring a seamless transformation of the team while minimizing disruption to the ongoing efforts of the change managers, who remain focused on driving user engagement and achieving key transformation goals. The ideal candidate will operate within a matrixed structure, working closely with a team of change managers and business analysts. This role will play a critical part in ensuring alignment between Operations Strategy on the Target Operating Model and Program Management, in roadmap planning and the successful delivery of the organization’s change initiatives. We seek someone with a strong background in change management, business process improvement, and communications, capable of driving large-scale transformation programs. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at prioritizing tasks, while inspiring a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, with expertise in change management methodologies and best practices, using a data-driven approach to enhance organizational effectiveness and track progress toward change goals. 

 

The Daily:   

Team Leadership: 

Work within a matrixed structure, coordinating with Operations Strategy, Change Managers, Business Analysts, Program Management and Analytics to ensure alignment of change initiatives. 

Provide oversight and guidance to Change Managers ensuring consistency in approach and execution of change management programs and materials. 

Address and resolve complex problems that may arise during the team transformation, ensuring ongoing alignment with broader transformation initiatives and synergy targets. 

 

Cross-Functional Partnerships: 

Act as the point of contact for GCO leadership, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process. 

Partner with WBD Technology teams (Media Supply Chain, Global Technology Operations, Global Production Services, 3rd party) to ensure requirements intake, solution design and backlog prioritization are in alignment with change initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise and support to our technology partners on behalf of Global Content Operations to ensure operational requirements are being met.  

 

Metrics and KPIs: 

Collaborate with the Content Ops Analytics team to measure and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of change efforts that guide decision-making to ensure successful business outcomes. These may include adoption metrics, engagement and awareness metrics, and impact and readiness metrics to name a few.   

Monitor and assess resourcing needs throughout the execution of the transformation initiatives to ensure alignment with synergy targets and timelines.  

Develop surveys, newsletters, and other communication materials, as needed. 

 

Change Management: 

Lead the definition, development and execution of change management programs that align with the Target Operating Model. 

Collaborate with Program Management to maintain and refine the change management roadmap, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, scoped, and delivered on time. 

Ensure all change management efforts directly support the company’s target operating model, fostering a consistent approach to change across departments and functions. 

Define and utilize data and analytics to inform decisions, develop insights, and measure the performance of change activities against business needs. 

Lead the identification and management of risk associated with change initiatives. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential disruption.  

Serve as a change agent, encouraging a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement among both the team and operational users. 

 

Team Transformation and Change Management Operating Model:  

Spearheads the transformation of the Change Management functional area. 

Mentor and develop new change managers, ensuring their successful integration into the team and role, and recommending appropriate training resources.  

Responsible for reviewing and refreshing best practices, standard operating procedures, and change management plan documentation. Collaborating closely with the existing team of change managers, ensuring their insights and expertise are incorporated into the process. This approach will help align operating procedures with GCO needs while actively involving the team in the evolution of the operating model.  

Responsible for the development and implementation of detailed change management plans, including assessments, communication strategies, training programs, and change management frameworks with input from the team.  

Provide recommendations on work tasking tool configurations, team status reporting and internal process flow improvements.  

 

The Essentials 

> 7 years of experience in Change Management, or related roles.  

> 7 years of experience in Production, Post-Production, Media, Broadcast and/or Streaming Distribution, strongly preferred. 

Methodologies and Frameworks: Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools 

Critical Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically, question assumptions, and approach problems from multiple angles to develop solutions 

Analytical Thinking: Strong experience in analyzing complex processes and data sets, with a track record of using data to drive process improvement decisions 

Communication Skills: Demonstrated expertise in preparing and delivering presentations to leadership, and in clear, concise documentation that effectively communicates complex information 

Time Management Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment 

Documentation: Demonstrated ability in producing and managing comprehensive documentation, including Change Management Plans, analysis, assessments, training, implementation and Communication Plans.  

Performance Indicators: Experience in using data to develop and monitor KPIs and OKRs to align change management efforts with strategic business objectives 

Global Team Collaboration: Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse perspectives and drive consistent process improvement initiatives. 

Agility and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in an environment of continual change, with comfort in navigating ambiguity, adapting to shifting priorities, and leading process improvements in a dynamic setting.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $98,917.00 - $183,703.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
