Change Management Manager

About the Role – You will:

Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. The candidate must be well-rounded and have technical knowledge of how product lifecycle management tools work at the tactical execution level with a view at the strategic level. The candidate should be interested in the enterprise system tools and components (PLM/PDM, ERP, rapid planning, work Help establish best practice methodologies and guidelines for CAD/PDM/PLM use Collaborate with senior leaders, department heads, and project teams to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives. Develop clear and effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about changes, their impact, and the benefits of adoption. Identify training needs and develop training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to adapt to changes effectively. Conduct change impact assessments to understand the implications of changes on various departments, processes, and systems. Assess the organization's readiness for change and develop readiness plans to address gaps and ensure successful implementation. Define metrics to measure the success of change initiatives. Monitor progress, evaluate results, and report findings to stakeholders. Continuously improve change management processes and methodologies based on feedback and lessons learned from previous changes.

This position will be part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Team and Change Management that supports Proterra’s Battery Manufacturing and Engineering operations in Greenville, SC. You will report to the Director of Operational Excellence and collaborate with other Engineering team members located at our headquarters in Burlingame, CA and manufacturing facilities in Greer, SC

 

About You:

Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal styles and techniques to influence at all levels of the organization and external customers. Customer-focused attitude, with a high-level of professionalism and discretion. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and diligent Strong time management and organizational skills. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work with a high workload with interruptions and deadlines in an open environment.

Your Experience Includes:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Inconsistency with JDs for Manufacturing 7-10 years of experience in change management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading and implementing change initiatives. Strong understanding of change control, PDM (EPDM, Enovia, etc) and PLM (Arena, etc) tools, workflows and approval routing. Basic Knowledge of CAD, 2D drafting, materials, specifications and manufacturing process Familiar with the product development cycle – concept, design, development, test, & production Methodical and diligent thinker and a desire to work with a strong sense of quality and craft
