Job Description

The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. The Change Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Solutions Design and be a part of the Business Enablement team.

 

Job Duties- Expectations:

Apply a structured ADKAR methodology and lead change management activitiesAssess the change impact and adoptionComplete change management assessmentsCreate change management strategyIdentify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tacticsIdentify and manage anticipated resistanceConsult, coach, and potentially join project teams as a workstream ownerCreate actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management planSupport communication efforts and development of comms strategy and implementationDevelop training materials and partner with L&D to lead/support training effortsSupport and engage senior leadersCoach managers and supervisorsCoordinate efforts with other specialistsIntegrate change management activities into project plansEvaluate and ensure user readinessManage stakeholdersTrack and report issuesDefine and measure success metrics and monitor change progressSupport change management at the organizational level, Enterprise Change ManagementManage the portfolio and change load

Qualifications5-10 years of experience in a mid-to-large corporate enterprise environmentExperience driving change in a similarly sized corporate settingMust have strong organizational and consulting level communication skills (both written and verbal)Must have strong problem-solving capabilities, curious mindset, be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyAptitude for managing through ambiguity and learning on the flySelf-starter – able to hold to project schedules without constant supervisionExperience with cross-cultural communicationExperience with Mural, Visio, and/or Signavio preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degreeProSci and/or ADKAR methodology training or certification preferred
