LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Change Manager for a long-term contract with our client in Central Illinois! Consultant will create a structured approach to preparing, equipping and supporting individuals through organizational change. It focuses on the people side of change to ensure that individuals can effectively adopt and use new processes, systems or behaviors, ultimately leading to successful outcomes for the organization At the moment there are several major IT projects budgets including a EHR – Electronic Health Records migration and an ERP System change Change Manager (IT Projects) We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our dynamic team within a leading hospital system. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and change management methodologies, specifically Prosci’s ADKAR model, to support the organization in implementing effective, sustainable changes across technology and process initiatives. This role requires a proactive leader who understands the complexities of IT implementations in a healthcare environment and can effectively manage the people side of change to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities: Change Strategy Development: + Develop and execute change management strategies and plans tailored to IT projects, leveraging Prosci methodologies to drive adoption and minimize resistance. + Conduct organizational impact analyses, change readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement plans. + Act as the primary change agent, fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation within the hospital system. + Partner with executive sponsors, project managers, and cross-functional teams to articulate and communicate the vision, purpose, and benefits of change initiatives. + Design and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communication plans to a diverse audience, including clinicians, administrative staff, and IT teams. + Identify training needs and create educational materials to ensure end-users are well-prepared for new tools, systems, and workflows. + Deliver or coordinate training sessions and facilitate workshops for employees across the hospital system. + Establish a feedback mechanism to address concerns and support a smooth transition. + Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations related to IT changes + Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure alignment and buy-in. Prosci Methodology Application: + Utilize the Prosci ADKAR model to guide individuals and teams through the five stages of change: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement. + Measure and track change progress using Prosci tools and methodologies, identifying and addressing barriers to adoption. + Develop and track change management success metrics to evaluate project outcomes and ensure adoption, usage, and proficiency of IT solutions. + Report on the effectiveness of change efforts and recommend adjustments as needed. + Identify risks and resistance to change and develop actionable plans to address challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. + 5+ years of experience in change management, preferably within IT projects in healthcare or hospital systems. + Proven track record of managing large-scale IT change initiatives using Prosci methodologies. + Familiarity with healthcare regulations, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and hospital IT infrastructure is a plus. Certification: + Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent is highly desired. + PMP or other project management certifications are a plus. Skills & Competencies: + Strong understanding of Prosci’s ADKAR model and its practical application in IT projects. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. + Expertise in conducting change impact analyses, stakeholder assessments, and readiness planning. + Experience designing and implementing effective training programs and communication strategies. + Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure change management success metrics. + Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced environments. + Proficiency with project management tools and software.
