As the industry evolves, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Channel Account Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for expanding our market presence through the development and management of reseller partners.
Position Overview
As a Channel Account Manager for EV Charging Sales, you will establish and nurture relationships with reseller partners to drive sales, enhance market penetration, and foster overall business growth. Your focus will be on managing reseller partner pipeline, enabling them to effectively promote and distribute our EV charging products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Pipeline Management: Identify, evaluate, and help drive sales of individual opportunities living under assigned channel partner accounts. Will be the conduit to internal resources that will help drive and close individual sales opportunities. Establish weekly/bi-weekly cadence calls to review pipeline with partners. Travel: 40% of time. Quarterly partner visits are to be done to establish “Go To Market” quarterly goals. Attend in person meetings with partners and our customers to help close deals. Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for reseller partners. Address inquiries and concerns promptly while exploring new business opportunities to maintain high partner satisfaction. Sales Enablement: Equip reseller partners with the necessary sales tools, marketing collateral, and technical resources. Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure partners have updated materials and support. Performance Tracking: Set performance objectives and sales targets for partners. Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and collaborate with partners to overcome challenges. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, incentives, and market developments. Use this knowledge to identify new market segments, potential partners, and areas for growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure seamless coordination. Share partner feedback to drive product improvements and enhance the overall partner experience.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in partner management, business development, or sales roles within the EV charging or related industries. Strong understanding of electric vehicle charging solutions, technology, and market dynamics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence effectively, both internally and externally. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Location
Northeast US Remote- in territory (MA, CT, RI, NJ, NY, NH, VT, ME)
ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $58,500 to $140,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
