Channel Executive
Channel Executive Job Description: As a Channel Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the new acquisition growth in the Canadian region to meet or exceed the quarterly quota across a defined set of assigned partners. Every day, you will identify significant opportunities within channel partners and coordinate Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 activities through pre-sales, professional services, etc., to maximize Sage product and service sales. To thrive in this role, you must work with sales planning and enabling a set of partners who are Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 critical small and mid-market solutions and services partners, such as resellers, consultants, and system integrators, and work with other members of the channel team to identify ways to grow a partner’s Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 sales capacity. Hybrid: 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto office. Key Responsibilities: What will you be doing? • Sales planning and delivery for a set of Sage partners who sell Sage Intacct, 300, X3 and other mid-market solutions. • Work with other channel team members to identify ways to grow a partner’s overall sales capacity for Sage solutions. • Organize channel training to educate, motivate, and activate sales and marketing people through our channel tools. • Identify issues and develop plans to improve a partner’s performance. • Work with additional channel enablement and marketing personnel to help develop and execute effective programs and enablement strategies. • Manage and close Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 partner sales opportunities through partner account strategy, forecasting, account resource allocation, and planning. • Initiate joint business planning and marketing plans with partners, including individual responsibility for a sales objective. • Identify significant opportunities within channel partners and coordinate Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 activities through pre-sales, professional services, etc., to maximize Sage product and service sales. • Work with Corporate Sales Reps to drive and direct business and services through partners, including web-based presentations to manage product positioning and strategies. What this role requires: • 3+ years of sales experience with knowledge of channel and end-user sales of similar accounting solutions such as Microsoft, Intuit, and Sage. • Minimal quarterly travel will be required for up to 10% of your total work time. • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with a successful revenue attainment track record. • Knowledge of Financial Applications and complementary solutions.
