About Parameta Solutions:

Parameta Solutions, the data and analytics division of inter-broker dealer TP ICAP, is a leading global provider of OTC Market Data. From pre to post trade, their solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively.

In May 2022, the firm became an FCA authorized benchmark administrator. This license has allowed the company to take on administration of the nine TP ICAP interest rate swaps benchmarks that were previously administered by Moorgate Benchmarks.  In April 2023, the firm was also approved as an ESMA authorised benchmark administrator, making it the first IDB to administer OTC benchmarks and indices across Europe AND the UK.

Role Overview:

The Channel Management Analyst will play a vital role in supporting business growth and contributing towards the Parameta strategy to increase contribution to group revenues across a five-year period. The Channel Management Analyst will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient communication between the Channel team and their clients. The Analyst will also support resolving business inquiries and issues, maintaining customer records and databases, and coordinating with other departments such as product, technology, sales, finance, and other relevant stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

Support with managing the existing relationship between TP ICAP and our designated channel partners

Ownership and analysis of client communications, client data notifications, distributions lists and ad-hoc client requests

Provide research support for Channel Management Strategic Lead to grow the revenue, both directly and pass through, with our channel partners

Support with maintaining detailed account plans

Gather and prioritize client and market feedback to drive data procurement and increase client adoption and retention

Support the sales process globally

Engage with the brokerage business to manage data flows

Respond timely to data queries from channel partners and their customers

Work closely with audit partners to ensure that data is used in a compliant manner

Support with onboarding new channel partners

Other duties where required

Experience / Competences

Essential

Experience in a market data environment preferred (either buy-side or sell-side)

Understanding in the use of OTC data within the financial markets, including the instruments required for the various businesses

Strong customer focus

Ability to work independently, self-motivated

Creative and commercially savvy.  Can envision and interpret upcoming industry trends and position the product with emerging needs

Strong communication (written and oral), analytical and negotiation skills

Highly effective decision-making skills

Ability to work to demanding targets and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of personal and team organization and focus

Confidence, professionalism, initiative and diplomacy

Desired

Degree qualified

With 3-4 years' experience of Data distribution systems, platforms, entitlement systems, and applications using data would be helpful

Intermediate knowledge of Excel functionality

Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret contractual terms and extract relevant clauses

Proven communication skills, both written and verbal

Knowledge of market data vendors; Bloomberg, ICE, LSEG or S&P Global

Risk Responsibilities

All staff have defined risk management responsibilities. The Group imposes additional responsibilities on line-managers and senior managers. It is critical that all staff discharge their risk management responsibilities when undertaking their role. Specific responsibilities are incorporated into employee objectives, and your performance against these objectives will be assessed as part of the firm’s performance management process. You will also be required to confirm that you have discharged your risk management responsibilities through the annual risk management attestation process.
