A Day in the Life of the Channel Partner Relations Manager:

Channel Strategy and Development. Develop and execute strategies to grow the TSD channel and align it with the organization’s overall goals. Identify new opportunities within the TSD channels to expand market presence. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, technical services) to roll out tools, resources, and programs for agent success. Relationship Management. Build and maintain strong relationships with TSD key stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for all TSD agent-related inquiries and escalations. Regularly engage with TSD leadership and support teams to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Performance Management. Monitor, analyze and report agent performance metrics, including sales volumes, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction. Provide coaching, feedback, and support to improve agent performance and drive success. Implement recognition and incentive programs to reward high-performing agents. Operational Support and Enablement. Oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure agents are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge. Facilitate access to automation tools, technical support, product information, and marketing materials for agents. Work closely with the TSD team to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery. Market Insights and Reporting. Gather market intelligence from agents to inform strategy and identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Provide regular reports on channel performance, sales forecasts, and program ROI to leadership. Recommend adjustments to strategies based on data insights and market feedback. Collaboration with TSD Leaders and Astound CSM Team members. Develop joint business plans with Master Agents, focusing on revenue growth and market penetration. Ensure alignment between Master Agent activities and organizational objectives. Support Master Agents in recruiting and managing sub-agents, ensuring consistent messaging and performance. Other duties responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development, preferably with a focus on agent networks or Master Agents. Telecom, Wholesale sales experience preferred. Strong Microsoft office suite skills and experience (at minimum Intermediate level). Proven track record of driving sales growth through indirect sales channels. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive actionable insights. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools. Experience working within technical services, telecommunications, or related industries. Familiarity with Master Agent and sub-agent business models.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Growth in revenue and market share from the Master Agent channel. Number of active and high-performing agents within the network. Agent retention and satisfaction rates. Achievement of sales targets and program ROI. Speed and quality of onboarding and agent enablement processes.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field and/or equivalent experience Certifications in sales management or business development preferred.

Base Salary: The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. 

Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment are fifty-six thousand annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
