Join SMX (formerly Smartronix) as a Channel Sales Manager and become a vital part of our Federal Accelerator team. In this role, you will manage and cultivate key partner relationships to drive business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to support SMX’s channel partners to drive new business to our Federal Accelerator offering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel sales, excellent communication and presentation skills, and an understanding of the federal and commercial markets. Experience with solution selling, cloud enablement, data management, and automation is a plus. Join us and play a key role in helping our partners succeed in the federal sector. This is a remote role supporting a Herndon, VA based team. Travel required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and ISVs, acting as the central point of contact. Collaborate with partners to create and execute joint go-to-market plans and demand generation activities aligned with Federal Accelerator objectives. Provide guidance and support to partners through the FedRAMP and DoD authorization processes. Identify and leverage new opportunities to expand market presence. Facilitate the deal flow process tactically, track key performance metrics, and ensure CRM and other tools are up to date. Monitor and report on partner performance, providing insights to drive continuous improvement. Develop and execute marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with channel partners.Required Skills/Experience:
Clearance Required: None 2–5 years of sales or channel development experience 2+ years of channel sales or partner management experience 2+ years of experience in the AWS market Solid understanding of sales processes, deal flow, and pipeline management Detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple ongoing workstreams and opportunities while keeping all information organized and accessible Experience with common CRM and Go-To-Market tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Desired Skills/Experience:
Security Clearance: Secret (preferred) Marketing experience or a degree in marketing Experience with FedRAMP and/or DoD RMF accreditations Partner management or channel leadership experience within an AWS consulting firm, ideally specializing in security and compliance Experience with the Amazon Partner Network portal Knowledge of Federal procurement and/or Federal compliance processes AWS Practitioner or Associate-level certifications

The proposed salary for this position is:$134,000—$201,000 USD
