Position Summary:
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our Channel Sales team. In this 100% indirect and territory management role, you will develop and maintain business relationships with software and cloud-based companies specializing in ERP, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management. You will cultivate partnerships with these companies and their independent business partner communities, representing SPS Commerce to these groups. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual business plan outlining specific markets, activities, and milestones to meet sales revenue and lead generation objectives, and present detailed plans to senior management and business executives. Maintain and track financial and non-financial metrics to measure the effectiveness of channel partner relationships and ensure consistent and accurate sales and partner forecasts. Articulate the SPS value proposition for the entire product suite and educate other departments on your business goals to ensure cross-functional support and participation. Execute marketing programs, including industry tradeshows with partners, and collaborate with other SPS sales organizations and third-party companies to increase win rates and integrate partners into the SPS Ecosystem.
Location:
In this hybrid role, you will be required to work onsite from our Minneapolis office 2 days per week (Wednesday in addition to one additional day).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant work experience, or some post-secondary education with 3 years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in sales and at least 1 year in a commission-based hunter sales role. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and the ability to work cross-functionally with product management, implementation, support, sales, and senior management. Proven ability to think innovatively, develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies with partners, and translate technical and customer information into engaging business solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Sales Automation Systems (such as Salesforce.com) Familiarity in ERP and Supply Chain business applications; Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Value-Added Reseller (VAR), or industry experience is preferred.

The total annualized on-target compensation for this role is: $100,000.
