About the Team The Channel Sales Manager role is part of the Distribution team located in Mumbai, India. This diverse team thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, committed to driving partnership growth objectives through innovative sales and marketing strategies. The mission of this team at Nutanix is to enhance market presence and develop strong partnerships with National Systems Integrators, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and extensive collaboration. You will report to the Distribution Manager, who emphasizes a leadership style centered on empowerment and strategic vision. This manager values open communication and encourages team members to take ownership of their projects, fostering an environment of trust and innovation. The role is hybrid, requiring your presence in the office a few days a week, while also allowing flexibility for remote work. This position will involve travel as you engage with partners and market opportunities. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel requirements that align with business needs, ensuring effective relationship management and support for sales initiatives across regions. Your Role + Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for National Systems Integrators (NSIs) to achieve partnership growth goals. + Drive demand generation programs aligned with NSI initiatives to build a robust sales pipeline and increase net-new logo growth. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to ensure program execution aligns with company objectives. + Track and report on the performance of sales programs and co-marketing initiatives; identify areas for improvement. + Establish an engagement framework to monitor and drive progress through Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs). + Identify and capitalize on new market trends and partnership opportunities to enhance competitive positioning. + Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and coordinate efforts within the distribution team. + Achieve key milestones in the first year, including the onboarding of new partners and the implementation of growth initiatives. This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager. What You Will Bring + 10+ years of experience in partner marketing strategies and execution. + Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. + Outstanding project management capabilities. + Experience with National Systems Integrator (NSI) partnerships. + Knowledge in storage, virtualization, and/or data center technologies is a plus. + Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or marketing; MBA is a plus. + Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-national, and multi-cultural work environment.
