Role
The Channel Sales Specialist is responsible for co-developing partner relationships and driving sales within an assigned area, with existing and new agents. This position will focus on pre-sales pricing and proposals on transactional level opportunities. They will assist sales team with more complex solutions as needed. They will also, collaborate with their assigned sales team to build local relationships, achieve quotas, and keep our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services. A successful candidate will have the capability to quickly learn Crown Castle’s product set and differentiators, network with peers, professionally and consistently engage with partners, and close transactional new business. A demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is key to this role.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with CCI Partners to support sub $2,000 transactional sales opportunities Manage and drive transactional sales to meet assigned team sales quotas Coordinate with Channel Manager to maintain detailed sales forecasts both monthly and quarterly and supply information to leadership as required Travel as needed, within assigned territory, for partner onboarding, support, training, and potential partner or customer events. Qualify leads and provide quotes to partner community, and assign large complex leads to sales team Start CRM process on all inbound leads assigning to appropriate channel manager when opportunities are more than one site or greater than 500Mbps Assist with QGIS mapping as part of qualification of larger scale opportunities Assist with prospecting when opportunities are farther from network Conduct research to identify additional sites and grow original lead Identify strong agents and work with sales team to provide additional focus and support Actively work with the sales team and customer to determine needs for increased services and bandwidth Work with Client Service Manager (CSM) to proactively pull agent inventory, develop business plan with partners on renewals and increasing sales within existing customer base Aid in Onboarding of new partners to Crown Castle Fiber Business, increase touch points with all partners Assist with driving partner or customer attendance to local and national events and appointment setting Work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels that exceed customer/partner expectations through a strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up ensuring revenue objectives are met Enhance and manage partner data in CRM, adding subagents and other detail as required for reporting Support and participate in partner training where applicable Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team while concurrently performing as a high achieving individual contributor with minimal supervision May attend in-person partner sales appointments, on-boarding, training and events as needed Other duties and responsibilities as requiredEducation/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or related field preferredExperience/Minimum Requirements
3-5 or more years of successful transactional sales and/or customer facing management experience Telecom experience preferred Proven project management experience CRM and Microsoft Office experience QGIS experience preferredExpectations

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
The salary range offered for this position is $63,680- $87,560 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
