What you will do in this role:

Uses knowledge of different faiths to meet various religious beliefs/needs, lead prayers, and answer spiritual questions.Actively provides delivery of spiritual support and guidance to patients/families.Protects patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.Acts as a liaison between the hospital and community.Keeps records of pastoral/spiritual activities to communicate with other members of the department and administration as needed.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in religion, divinity, or theology; Master’s degree preferred.         2-5 years of experience as a clergy or chaplain. Experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. License: Valid driver’s license.CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment. May be required to work flexible hours.
