Position Summary:
The Chaplain provides direct care to patients and families, crisis/trauma support, death and dying support, advance directive education, cultural/spiritual/values/beliefs assessments as part of the interdisciplinary team of caregivers, ministerial functions, and spiritual counseling where patients, families, and staff are facing critical and stressful situations and/or personal adjustment to illness. The Chaplain collaborates with all members of Bozeman Health to provide excellence in patient spiritual care and emotional support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s DegreeCompletion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE-ACPE)Preferred: Graduate Level Theological educationPreferred: Certification by national certification bodyPreferred: Board Certified Chaplain (BCC)Preferred: Ordination by recognized religious organizationPreferred: Experience with ministerial functions and spiritual counselingEssential Job Functions:
