Answers CPE program inquires
Tracks student applications, enrollment documentation, and finances.
Organizes and administers student records.
Manages CPE intern and resident tuition payments
Participates in program committees and initiatives.
Oversees CPE program library and archives.
Supports Program Manager with accreditation and Professional Advisory Committee tasks
Hospitality for incoming students
Communicates with Grief Support team and office coordinators about space usage
Manages calendar for CPE space and communicates concerns to CPE Program Manager
Prepares end of unit program completion certificates

Chaplain I
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Divinity, Ministry or a related field, or three years professional experience in related field, necessary to gain understanding in the relationship of pastoral care to medical care.Successful completion of 1 ACPE accredited unit of CPE.Licensure/Certification Requirement:
Associate Membership in NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) or NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains) or SCA (Spiritual Care Association) is strongly preferred.Special Requirement: Ecclesiastical endorsement: For a Catholic priest/minister or vowed religious by his/her superior and the local Bishop.
At time of hire and annually documentation from the chaplain’s religious tradition or endorsing body is required, and must indicate continued endorsement, good standing, or other affirmation of support as is appropriate to their tradition.
Chaplain II
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Divinity, Ministry or a related field, or three years professional experience in related field, necessary to gain understanding in the relationship of pastoral care to medical care.A graduate degree in Theology, Divinity, Ministry or a related field counseling, or some other job related field is preferred.Successful Completion of 2 ACPE accredited CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) units is required at the time of hire. Completion of an additional 2 ACPE accredited unit is required within 24 months of hire.Licensure/Certification Requirement:

Master’s degree in theology, Divinity, Ministry or a related fieldSuccessful Completion of 3 ACPE accredited units of CPE with 4th ACPE accredited unit completed within 12 months and then board certification required within 24 months.Certification/Licensure Required:
Membership in NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains), or SCA (Spiritual Care Association) is strongly preferred.Certification with the NACC, APC or SCA required within 24 months of hireSpecial Requirement: Ecclesiastical endorsement: For a Catholic priest/minister or vowed religious by his/her superior and the local Bishop.
