Chaplain (PT- 0.4 FTE, Variable Shift)

Position Summary: 

The Chaplain provides direct care to patients and families, crisis/trauma support, death and dying support, advance directive education, cultural/spiritual/values/beliefs assessments as part of the interdisciplinary team of caregivers, ministerial functions, and spiritual counseling where patients, families, and staff are facing critical and stressful situations and/or personal adjustment to illness. The Chaplain collaborates with all members of Bozeman Health to provide excellence in patient spiritual care and emotional support.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s DegreeCompletion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE-ACPE)

Preferred

Graduate Level Theological educationCertification by national certification bodyBoard Certified Chaplain (BCC)Ordination by recognized religious organizationExperience with ministerial functions and spiritual counseling

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
