Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics._ **Responsibilities** Provide religious and spiritual care and counsel for emotional and spiritual distress to patients, their families, associates and others with attention to diverse spiritual orientations and cultures. + Provide pastoral care to the local ministry and community through performing sacraments, rituals, blessings and liturgies. + Participate and collaborate with others in the delivery of holistic patient care. + Build and maintain relationships with patients, families and associates through regular visitations and communication in order to create spiritual and religious connections. + Mentor Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) students and fellows. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + Chaplain specializing in Cert of Endorsement obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date required. + Board Certification from the APC, ACPE, NACC, CASC, or NAJC (or certification obtained within 2 years of hire, risking termination if not obtained within timeframe) is required. Education: + Master’s Degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited school is required. 3 units of CPE accredited by the ACPE is required only if not board-certified; 4 units of accredited CPE are preferred. Work Experience: + 3-5 years of healthcare experience as a chaplain is preferred. **Additional Preferences** Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Care or ministry related field (at least 72 credit hours) 3 units of Clinical Pastoral Education minimum; 4th unit of CPE preferred.
