POSITION SUMMARY

An Andretti Character Performer is an hourly associate who will generate a fun and exciting atmosphere to all guests in a themed racing costume. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be between 5'10" to 6'1" tall to properly fit the suit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner.Work well with children of all ages and personalities.Assist with special events such as birthday parties and outside public engagementsCommunicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessionsEnsure proper maintenance of the robot costume ensure it is kept in good shape and stored away properly.

Skills & Requirements

Prior guest service experience is preferred, and certain skill sets may be required depending on positionAn acting or performing background is preferredProject an outgoing, positive personality as well as spontaneity when interacting with othersFor best fit within the costume, the candidate should be between 5'10" to 6'1" tall with a slender body type, the costume used is designed for a average/tall male body frame and has limited adjustabilityStrong verbal and nonverbal communication skillsWork days, nights, holidays, and weekendsComfortable with interior and exterior work including temperature changes
