Charge Nurse – mental health
Registered Nurses are encouraged to consider an outstanding career opportunity and available full-time Charge Nurse position with Liberty Healthcare. Liberty Healthcare operates a comprehensive mental health program onsite at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This program uniquely serves adult jail inmates who are experiencing mental illness. Program services include assessment and diagnoses, medication administration and management, psychiatric stabilization, crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and much more. As a Charge Nurse with Liberty, you will work alongside a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated team of professionals. Together, you will make a real difference in the lives of a significant number of people, many of whom are underserved. You will enjoy a mix of patient care and leadership responsibilities, including: + Collaborating with Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, ancillary clinicians and security staff + Assisting in the hiring, training, development, supervision, scheduling, and management of RNs + Serving as a contributing member of the program’s leadership team + Rounding on units, assessing patients, implementing physician orders, and providing direct nursing care + Participating in quality assurance activities and helping to enhance policies and procedures + Contributing to a positive workplace culture and participating in nurse recruitment and retention initiatives As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect: + $55.00 per hour + 30 days of paid time off for holidays, vacation, sick and personal leave + Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance + 401k, health savings account, and other perks Full details on Liberty’s benefits plan are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/143.pdf You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed in California as a Registered Nurse.
