QUALIFICATIONS
Required\:
• Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing Program; current registration with the provincial regulating body.

• Minimum five (5) years of nursing recent experience with progressive responsibilities with some supervisory experience.

• Previous experience or knowledge of RAI tools

• Previous experience working with geriatric clients; diagnosing and staging of dementia.

 • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Clinical skills such as IV therapy, central lines, and wound care.

• Experience with Conflict Resolution / Customer Service Management & Dealing with Difficult Situations / Employees.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret company policies and procedures.

 • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and to assess situations and problems efficiently and effectively

 • Experience with written documentation, care plans. 

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaborative, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work well within an inter-professional team and to foster effective working relationships. 

• Ability to exercise initiative and observe strict confidentiality. • Demonstrated commitment to Bayshore core values.
