Essential Duties: + Functions as a Clinical Resource to staff in the management of complex patients, procedures and situations. + Mentors, coaches, and supports team members to meet patient and unit needs, gain skills and effectively adapt to change. + Performs basic skills of all staff reporting to Charge Nurse during shift including Unit Secretary, CNAs and RNs. + Rounds on staff and patients. + Demonstrates appropriate staffing decisions that match assessed patient needs with nurse competencies. Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm Core Schedule: Week 1 Sun, Mon, Tue; Week 1 Tue, Fri, Sat; Week 3 Sun, Wed, Thu; Week 4 Mon, Tue, Wed **Qualifications** License/Certification: + Current RN license issued by the State of Oregon. + American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire + ACLS within 6 months of hire Experience: + Two (2) years of experience as an RN on the Medical Floor preferred + Previous Charge RN experience in the area of specialty preferred + PICC line or Powerglide line competency preferred.
