POSITION SUMMARY The Charge Nurse will provide direct patient care as well as supervise staff on the psychiatric unit. They will serve as a resource and a mentor to staff. Promote a culture of safety and identify areas for improvement. This person will have strong communication skills and instill a team approach and EAMC values.  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Associates degree in nursing or equivalent.

Required Registration/License/Certification Registered Nursing license. BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire. 
Preferred Education Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent 
Preferred Experience Experience in psychiatry. Recent hospital experience preferred.
