Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: 

Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

 For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years RN experience in the Operating Room. Charge or Service Line Coordinator experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Specific Skills: 

Clinical skills appropriate to position Interpersonal skills 

 Certifications and Licensures: 

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty (CNOR)

 Education: 

Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing and RN Certification in related field or Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field
