Chargeback Specialist

In the role of Chargeback Specialist, you will help prevent financial and reputational loss for the company by handling, analyzing and responding to incoming chargebacks as per card schemes regulations.
What you'll do
Reviewing and investigating chargeback claims received from SumUp customers and acquirers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is included and that the request is valid Investigating chargeback cases Handling Salesforce cases with responses from the merchants Representing SumUp customers in chargeback disputes, providing compelling evidence and documentation to support SumUp's case, and ensuring that all dispute deadlines are met Analyzing chargeback trends and patterns to identify potential areas of risk, recommend and implement measures to mitigate those risks Maintaining accurate and up-to-date chargeback records of all chargeback cases Updating relevant internal teams informed about chargeback trends and issues, providing actionable insights to improve SumUp's chargeback management processesYou'll be great for this position if
You have had an initial experience working with Fraud detection and prevention, and are looking to further grow in this area You have excellent language skills (verbally and written) in English You have strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a flexible and fast paced production oriented environment on varying shifts You have knowledge of chargeback regulations and policies or experience in the dispute resolution field You have intermediate Word and Excel experience
