Our Chassis team is dedicated to innovation, quality, and sustainability. Chassis systems engineers are responsible for vehicle systems that include Frame structure, Suspension, Brakes, Fuel and DEF systems, Steering, and HVAC. Chassis teams develop requirements, design, integrate, test, validate, and release all systems together across all truck and bus platforms. We are looking for a motivated and talented Chassis Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team.
About the Intern Program
12 week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 240 hours per weekMust graduate between December 2025 - May 2027 Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of chassis components and systems for commercial trucksSupport the engineering team in creating and updating CAD models and drawingsConduct research and analysis on materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standardsParticipate in prototype testing and validation activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturabilityPrepare technical reports and documentation Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
