**Role Overview**
**Bring your culinary know-how to** **Sodexo Campus Dining!**
Sodexo Campus Dining is seeking an experienced **Chef** to **oversee our Student Dining at** **Walla Walla University (https://wwudining.sodexomyway.com/en-us/locations/)** at College Place, WA. Walla Walla campus and surrounding area offerscultural arts, vibrant dining, and a broad range of recreational opportunities. Our Sodexo team works with local community vendors and has developed innovative menus to ensure a quality, healthy, vegetarian dining experience on the College Place campus.
This Chef will oversee student dining operations in the Resident Dining hall - serving over 800 meals a day. Our Resident Dining hall consists of multiple **Plant Forward** stations including; Comfort/Homemade station, Pizza/Pasta station, Grill/Burgers station, Salad/Deli Bar, and international station offerings including Asian, Mexican, Indian, Greek, from pasta, sushi, falafel etc. Additionally, the Chef oversees catering from small luncheons, VIP dinners, and large seasonal gatherings up to 800 guests.

**What You'll Do**
Is this the Opportunity you have been seeking? As Chef, you will:
+ oversee Student Resident Dining - multiple food stations, and catering;
+ ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
+ have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
+ ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and
+ have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

**What You Bring**

+ 3 - 5 years culinary background in a high volume dining environment;
+ demonstrated ability to stay current with new **Plant Forward** trends;
+ excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
+ strong coaching and employee development skills;
+ experience overseeing catering - developing menus per client/customer request; and
+ have a passion for food and innovation.
