About the role:
Downer is looking for a dedicated and professional Canteen Chef to join our team at Mark Oliphant College, Munno Para. This role involves delivering high-quality catering services that meet the needs of the school while adhering to Downer policies and procedures.
This is a Casual opportunity, ideally you will be available to work Monday - Friday between 8am - 1pm
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and produce recess, lunch items, and catering for functions. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards. Assist with stock receiving, storage, and rotation. Perform dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties. Support budgeting for food costs and assist with stocktakes.Key Attributes & Experience:
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery). 2-5 years of experience in the food service industry, preferably in canteen services. Strong knowledge of Food Safety principles and legislation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Professional appearance with high personal hygiene standards.About us:
