CHEF DE PARTIE - 5* Cruise Line Company Job as Chef de Partie in a Cruise Line market leader Position description Support junior team members in the delivery of high quality food products and ensure food production. Discuss with the Senior Chef in charge of the area the requirements for the shift and undertake the preparation and cooking of all dishes as directed. Prepare section area ready for management inspections. cy. Complete regular checks as directed and update logs accordingly. Undertake the cleaning and sanitation of the area and equipment and ensure all staff follow strict health and hygiene practices. Assist with food service, theatre style cooking and food demonstrations. Position requirements •Diploma from a recognized Hostelry School or apprenticeship program, or equivalent.
•2-3 years of full time working experience on a 4* star (or similar grade) hotel/restaurant, in the addition of catering college, catering to an international clientele.
•Food Production qualification or equivalent ideal Level 2
•Award in Food Safety desirable
•Good command of written and spoken English Certificates
•Valid ENG1
•Medical certificate or equivalent for the duration of each voyage
