As a Chef de Partie at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen with precision and passion. Working with a world-class culinary team, you will ensure the preparation, presentation, and consistency of all food items meets the highest standards expected at a Waldorf Astoria resort.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\n\nPrepare and present high-quality dishes within your section.
\n\n\nAssist in the development of menus and daily specials, contributing ideas and creativity.
\n\n\nMaintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP.
\n\n\nMonitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
\n\n\nTrain, mentor and supervise Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
\n\n\nEnsure that mise-en-place is prepared and maintained for your section.
\n\n\nWork closely with the Sous Chef to maintain consistency and quality across all outlets.
\n\n\nCollaborate with the broader culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
\n\n\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment and areas.
\n\n\nUphold Hilton’s values and brand standards in every task.
\n\n\nQualifications:
\n\n\nFormal culinary training and relevant certifications.
\n\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
\n\n\nStrong knowledge of international cuisine, with exposure to Mediterranean and island-style cooking being an advantage.
\n\n\nAbility to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.
\n\n\nExcellent communication and leadership skills.
\n\n\nFluent in English; French or Creole is a plus.
