 YEZI Restaurant & Teahouse is bringing a social fine dining experience to art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio.

If you know art’otel, you know we like to do things differently. Our guests come to us for something that goes beyond their usual hotel expectations, and that’s what you’ll do as our Chef de Partie – Dim Sum.

We’re looking for passionate individuals to help us craft unforgettable moments through exceptional service, creativity, and attention to detail. 

How you do it:

You’ll jump in and assist the head chef to cover the Dim Sum section. You are a star in covering your section with passion, sharing the special touch in the Asian Cuisine.You’ll help maintain an efficient ordering system and kitchen record system in line with company policy. You’ll support, if needed, the food deliveries and stock rooms, controlling stock and reducing waste. You’ll complete all the records as directed, accurately and on time. You’ll provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, serving them quickly and efficiently. You’ll make sure all areas within kitchen control are clean, hygienic and tidy at all times. You’ll keep tabs on the safety and security of company and client property.You’ll make sure we’re always complying with Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations relating to your work place. This includes (but isn’t limited to) fire, health and safety, HACCP, working safely. You’ll report all complaints and compliments to your line manager, taking action where you can. You’ll report any accident, theft, fire, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities to your line manager.  You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team. 

What you bring:

You’re experienced in working efficiently and safely in a high-volume kitchen. You have at least one working experience in the Dim Sum section.You’re a great communicator and a collaborative team player.  You’re up to date on industry trends and keep your finger on the pulse of new developments. You’re great at managing relationships with distributors and other third parties. You have a working knowledge of fresh food production and how to organise functions.  You have the same high standards of personal presentation and hygiene as we do.  You’re always prepared to assume responsibilities, use your initiative, make decisions on the fly and adapt as things change around you.There’s a lot more to this job than we’ve given you here – don’t worry, we’ll fill you in on everything before you begin. We might also add other similar responsibilities on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on the needs of YEZI.
