As a Chef leader at Civeo, you will bring a positive attitude, team-orientated mindset, a hands-on approach, and take pride in providing excellent service to our guests. Our villages range from 150 to 3000 people, and your passion and experience in bulk cooking will be highly valued. Our food offering is such a crucial part of our guest experience, and we want to have impact on those that live and work in our Villages. 

Permanent positions are available on a 14:7 roster (2 weeks living and working onsite, one week off), working 10.5 hour days. We offer a free bus service to and from Mackay or you can drive yourself to your Village location if you prefer. Our Villages are located in Moranbah, Dysart, Middlemount, and Blackwater!

Ideal Candidate

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent) Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens DIDO/FIFO/remote work experience (highly regarded) Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings Flexibility to work night shifts as required Exceptional communication and time management Great team player with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship NOT available) National Police Clearance (within last 6 months) Current Driver’s Licence
