Job Overview Mitie are seeking a talented and experienced Chef Team Leader  to guide a team of chefs and catering assistant's .  Chef Team Leader , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fresh cook, working in  medium CPU unit.  Ensure that all , food preparation, is the highest quality and all dishes meet the required standard for our patients and customers.  Produce high quality dishes and Garp and Go products for our retail outlet Work within guidelines set out in the Food Safety Management System  Monday to Friday role predominantly  Occasional weekend  Free Parking on Site Shifts contains no late shifts

Main Duties

Produce a high-quality fresh cook meals within a Central Production Unit Lead a small team of chefs and General Assistants Deliver high quality nutritious and appetising the food for patients and visitors. Ensure food is correctly and safely prepared in line with the HACCP Regulations Contributes to the team performance of the Catering Department to ensure the provision and maintenance of a high quality and cost-effective service with the highest standard of cleanliness Provide a great level of customer service to all patients and various stakeholders Assist in the menu reviews for Patients and Visitors along side the catering manager What we are looking for Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service Have experience supervising a team Have experience in a similar Chef role Hold a Food Hygiene certificate Have a flexible approach to working Work well within the team
