A Chef Tournant is a member of the culinary team whose job involves stepping in when needed to complete a variety of culinary duties, all of which have an important role in the quality of the final product. **Responsibilities** + Act as Senior Sous Chef leadership by assuming key management responsibilities in both outlet and banquet settings + Directly reports to Executive Sous Chef + Assume the role of liaison between all dining room, banquet management and culinary staff members + Supervise and participate in the preparation and cooking of various food items + Help develop and implement creative menu items within the restaurant concept + Plan, coordinate & implement special events and holiday functions + Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring + May manage other key culinary leadership rolls including supervisor and other less senior Sous Chefs + Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results + Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis + Participate in marketing events directly related to their specific restaurant *This job description is not all-encompassing and may include additional responsibilities as required. . The salary range for this position is $62,900.00 to $70,000.00.
