Chemical Analysis Lead (m/f/d)
with focus on ISO 17025 accredited analytical methods
In this newly established key role, you will lead one of three divisions within our Chemical Analysis and Science Department in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. Your primary objective will be to guide and support your team in delivering high-quality, reliable analytical data that rigorously meet all regulatory testing requirements.

You will:
Provide Leadership and Vision: lead and develop your team in alignment with JTI's business goals, leveraging analytical capabilities and ensuring compliance with customer demands and global regulations Ensure effective Project Management & Resource Allocation: manage relationships with internal clients to provide tailored solutions while effectively prioritizing and allocating available resources to ensure timely completion and optimal utilization Provide Analytical Excellence and Drive Quality Management: lead the implementation of analytical methods across diverse matrices, ensuring accuracy and precision, while supporting a comprehensive quality management system through documented procedures, training programs and regular audits
Within 6 months you will:
Requirements:
Master degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related field (bachelor degree may be considered with extensive experience) Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role within an analytical laboratory (ISO 17025 accredited environment) Proven track record with laboratory quality control principles and regulatory compliance Excellent leadership and management competencies Fluent in English and German Knowledge of data evaluation software
