Your role and responsibilities

The Application Engineer position is for the Process Gas Chromatograph lines produced at ABB’s Bartlesville, OK facility. The Application Engineering role consists of coordinating with the manufacturing group to provide effective applications, designs, and methods to produce new products. It also includes providing consulting services to design and development groups.Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction.The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Bartlesville, OKYou will be mainly accountable for:•Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.•Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.•Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.•Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering2 or more years’ experience with process or laboratory GC analyzers is preferred. Upcoming and/or recent graduates will also be consideredCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
