ResponsibilitiesYou will:
Manage and directly oversee site surveys, installation, preventative maintenance, servicing and training of various commercial equipment from a variety of manufacturers, including commercial warewashing machines, chemical dispensing equipment, on-premise laundry chemical systems and DC-powered commercial floor cleaning equipment.Conduct and assist with surveys, installs, PM, repair service and customer training.Manage service technicians’ schedules (PM and emergency) and coordinate all surveys, installations and in-service trainings. Report weekly schedule to Branch Manager and internal team members.Train, manage and mentor a team of four field service technicians and one service coordinator. Monitor team performance and implement optimization strategies to meet and exceed service goals.Collaborate with sales team to provide solutions for successful outcomes and enhance all chemical, Equipment, Jan/San, and Environmental Service Program sales.Assist with reviewing the profitability of sales associates and assist with methods to increase profits from customers on chemical, Jan/San and ESP.Maintain relationships with all chemical and equipment manufacturers to ensure the latest industry innovations and standards.Assist with the creation of project quotes including equipment and accessories, pricing, labor involved, etc.Play a key role in the implementation of a new software system designed to streamline service processes including scheduling, tracking and reporting.Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for service operations to ensure consistently positive customer service experiences.Coach, appraise performance, and apply corrective action to staff, as required.Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.Source and hire third-party contractors as needed.Participate in relevant service, safety and industry related trainings.Ensure professional, first-rate, timely service to maintain the company's high level of service and satisfaction standards. QualificationsYou have:
Bachelor’s degree in management, operations or related degree is required.At least 5+ years of outside sales experience selling chemicals, jan/san, ESP (dispensed chemicals) and/or ESP Equipment (dish machines) is required.At least 2+ years in a managerial role is required.Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general project management is strongly preferred.Candidates with service software and Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience are strongly preferred.Strong leadership skills with ability to command and direct a team toward fulfilling assigned responsibilities.Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.Manage, prioritize and delegate multiple tasks simultaneously and appropriately based on business needs.Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills to resolve matters quickly and appropriately.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.Excellent attention to detail and follow through coupled with the desire to exceed company and customer expectations.Must be extremely flexible, energetic and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment.Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and time management skills with strong ability to follow directions accurately, think proactively, set priorities and effectively translate and implement ideas.Knowledge and application of safety procedures in an equipment service setting.Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below the waist.
