Job Requirements:

Ability to follow detailed instructionsStrong mathematical and statistical skillsAbility to work independently on a given assignmentStrong competency with computers and Microsoft Office productsAbility to maintain flexibility when dealing with new and changing assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism

Responsibilities:

Ensure the ICP lab is a clean and a safe working environmentAssists in generating test proceduresPreparing chemical solutions to test various materialsPerform ICP and gravimetric analysis on samplesConduct tests per industry standards and/or customer specificationGenerate data summaries and reports requiring basic data analysisInterface with people in other functional areasMust comply with all laboratory safety proceduresMaintain compliance with all ISO procedures in work activities

Qualifications/ Experience:

Associate degree, Certificate, or two years of college in chemistry, or equivalent wet lab experience, bachelor's degree preferredExperience preparing chemical solutions and knowledge of wet lab safety practicesExperience in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) a plus
