Chemours is seeking a **Chemical Operator** to join our growing **Titanium Technologies** team. This position will be available at our **DeLisle, MS** location and report directly to the **Operations First Line Supervisor.** Chemical Operators perform duties to operate chemical process that involves knowledge of a range of various motors, pumps, valves, and instrumentation, using proper procedures, and safety equipment for a range of temperatures and chemicals. **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Collect and label process samples in order to verify product quality. + Open and close valves to regulate process flows. + Operate mobile equipment including forklift and/or aerial lift to position materials. + Perform housekeeping and equipment clean-out so that a safe workplace is maintained. + Unload rail cars and tank trucks using pumps and pneumatic conveying equipment so that raw materials are available and accessible. + Take and record process data (pressure, temperature, flow rates, etc.) in order to monitor and evaluate process status. + Analyze process samples and document results so that historical data is available for study. + Perform routine equipment inspections such as Eye Wash Stations, Safety Showers, Ladders, Lighting, etc., in order to ensure that safety equipment is maintained and in good working order. + Monitor raw materials inventories so that sufficient inventory levels are maintained. + Analyze and develop solutions to operation problems in order to optimize operating conditions. **The following is** **_required_** **for this role:** + High School diploma or GED equivalency + Valid Driver's license **The following is** **_preferred_** **for this role:** + Two or Four-year degree + Completion of related technical training programs **Benefits:** Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Day We’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
