Nucor Insulated Panel Group - Shelbyville IN,  has an opportunity for a Chemical Technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintenance of chemicals assigned to production lines. Verification of COA’s for incoming materials. Test incoming materials before trucks are unloaded. Charged with unloading chemical trucks. Daily check of compressions and density of foam. Maintain correct inventory levels and audit monthly inventories. Responsible for working closely with production teammates to ensure the team follows documented processes. Other duties, as assigned

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma. Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications. Must be able to lift up 50lbs. Minimum Qualifications: Preferences: Willing to work extended hours and at times in harsh weather conditions. Knowledge of the insulated metal panel industry. Preferred Qualifications:

 

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
