Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical processes, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. This role requires the use of computers to control and document various processes.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor chemical processing equipment.Use computer systems for process control and documentation.Conduct quality control tests to ensure product consistency.Maintain accurate records of chemical processes.Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on chemical processing equipment.Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and report any issues.Keep a clean and organized work environment.Manage production data efficiently.Lift and move heavy materials, and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.Essential SkillsTechnical proficiency in operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment.Ability to use computer systems for process control and documentation.Attention to detail in conducting quality control tests and maintaining accurate records.Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a chemical processing environment.Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors.Organizational skills for keeping a clean and organized work environment.Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Polymer Science for optimizing chemical processes.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles to improve efficiency and productivity.Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) for monitoring and controlling production processes.Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining processing equipment.Project management skills for leading process improvement initiatives.Strong data analysis skills to interpret production data.Experience in team leadership for coordinating efforts and driving continuous improvement.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
