JOB PURPOSE:  To support Production Manager and Team members, Setting up and operating machines to support the rubber processing and fabrication process.  Occasionally performing various functions at our Caterpillar Mossville Facility. **Position details:** + Hiring for 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (7am-3:30pm) + Starting Pay: $22.25 **All eligible candidates** _MUST_ **pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar:** + **Background Screening** + **Drug Screening** + **Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical** **Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:** + Sets up, operates, and adjusts calendaring machines to coat fabric and/or finish roll material to specified thickness + Performs troubleshooting of processes in the rubber processing and/or rubber fabrication areas. + Work independently with minimal supervision + Ability to work OT when required + Demonstrating safety excellence and enforcing safety policies and procedures **Essential Job Functions:** + Occasionally lift parts up to 50 pounds individually and infrequently up to 100 pounds as a team + Occasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks + Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed + Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures + Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks **Basic and/or Desired Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:** + Ability to read gauges and controls + Manufacturing experience of experience in a warehouse environment + Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills + Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access + Good attendance record + Ability to maintain accurate and complete records **Top candidates will also have:** + Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
