Job DescriptionAs "Chemical Regulations and Hazardous Substances Manager" you are responsible for executing, coordinating, and supporting the Business Area to ensure compliance in the field of Chemical Regulations.
Your main tasks are:
Define, establish, roll out and evolve a process to give clear guidance for the handling of Chemical Regulations in the BAScreening for potentially introduced and changes of established Chemical Regulations relevant for the BAAssess impact of Chemical Regulations and coordinate derived actions with all relevant parties at the BAProvide the central internal point of contact for customer and internal requests related to Chemical RegulationsExecute the notification obligations derived from Chemical Regulations for products placed on the market by the BA (e.g. acc. REACH, CPL,...)Implement, maintain and update a systematical approach for management of hazardous substances with focus on chemical raw materials in use in series production for the BAEnsuring identification of applicable requirements and obligations with focus on regulatory restrictions for usage of hazardous substances and ensuring awareness in the BA on applicable legal requirements and obligations to relevant stakeholdersEstablish, roll out and train common standards based on regulatory requirements for hazardous materials instruction for all productive and non-productive materials in the BA in cooperation with the plant responsibleThe position can be filled in Hanover or Hann. Münden.
QualificationsUniversity degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent (B.Sc., B. Eng.)Technical experience with at least several years in regulations managementExperience in the automotive industry is beneficialSound knowledge on Legal Requirements & Compliance Obligations for Chemical Raw materials and Chemical productsRisk Management, including assessments and mitigation methodsFluent English language skillsIndependent working ability and assertivenessCommunication and presentation skillsApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
