Compensation: 44/hour DOELocation: Coyanosa, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months +Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours +
Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401K, holidays and PTO Responsibilities Responsible for the installation, repair, and optimization of chemical pumps in the
field in addition to collecting samples of production fluids for testing Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and securityCollect samples of production fluid as needed for testingTroubleshoot issues and perform maintenance on chemical pumps.  Troubleshoot production issues such as corrosion, emulsion, paraffin and solidsMonitor production chemical levels and order re-fills as neededOrder new chemical application setups when needed and assist with installationMaintain frequent communication with the entire Special Services Team, Production
Foremen, Engineers and Lease OperatorsActive participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetingsIdentify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditionsFunction as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activitiesReport when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of serviceProvide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuityCoordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planningReport continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnelTake samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory testsActive participation on emergency response activitiesReport incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting GuidelinesEnsure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activitiesEnsure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed

 

Qualifications Completed secondary education and worked previously as a Field TechnicianBasic knowledge of production chemicals and their applicationProficiency with all MS Office Suite programs with emphasis on Excel & WordOperational knowledge of SCADA systems (XSPOC or Ignition) preferredDemonstrate leadership as well as verbal and written communication skillsManage multiple tasks and changes to priorities with little noticeAbility to self-motivate and to work with minimal supervisionExcellent attention to detailMust be physically able to lift >50 lbs and climb ladders/stairwaysStrong communications (oral & written)High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in othersExtensive knowledge and/or experience of pipeline operations.  Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processesStrong knowledge of Emergency Preparedness ProceduresExtensive knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design SpecificationsKnowledgeable of relevant regulations.  Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements
