Main Tasks:

- Conduct analytical research assignments under guidance of research scientist using standard procedures and equipment.
- Support internal customers and solve their technical challenges related to analytics.
- Under guidance of lab team leader, independently perform sample preparation and analytical measurements.
- Summarize and prepare reports based on the collected data.
- Maintain chemicals and equipment, e.g. XRD, elemental analyzer.
- Perform general lab assignments (e.g. lab house-keeping) as assigned.
- Comply with company regulations concerning safety, health and environment.
- Support professional, customer-oriented and proactive analytical service by:
1) developing new analytical methods and prepare SOPs
2) proactively adapting and optimizing methods, procedures and workflow
3) gaining familiarity with relevant scientific literature

Requirements:

- Education: BS with at least one years’ work experience on XRD analysis or fresh Master degree in chemistry/material science or related areas
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: crystallography, X-ray diffraction
- Knowledge and experience on elemental analysis is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Strong capability of self-learning and thinking independently
- English and Chinese: good in reading, writing and speaking
