Our client, a leading organization in the chemical industry, is seeking a QC Chemistry Analyst 1 to join their team. As a QC Chemistry Analyst 1, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** QC Chemistry Analyst 1
**Location:** Indianapolis, IN
**Pay Range:** $24
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform common laboratory procedures such as pH testing, weighing on analytical balances, and glassware preparation.
+ Conduct routine analytical testing for in-process, finished product, and raw materials utilizing HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis techniques.
+ Handle chemicals and perform reagent preparations under direct supervision.
+ Utilize PC for data entry, retrieval, and calculations related to laboratory results.
+ Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ General lab experience, including handling chemicals and pipetting.
+ Basic math knowledge and familiarity with laboratory equipment.
+ Preferred skills in HPLC and Karl Fischer methods.
+ A degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
