DOE Great opportunity for a 6 month potential contract to hire Chemist for a company that provides customized biobased and sustainable encapsulation solutions to clients working in specialized manufacturing industries. **Chemist/Laboratory Assistant/Formulation Specialist** **Research and Development Responsibilities:** + Conduct laboratory activities, including polymer binder synthesis, characterization, and formulation. + Apply advanced analytical techniques to analyze and interpret data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project objectives. + Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all research activities. + Prepare and document technical reports and research findings. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience. Preferred but not required + Targeting a New Grad / Intern + Strong understanding of chemical reactions and materials synthesis processes. + Demonstrated academic or internship experience in developing and optimizing chemical formulations for commercial products. + Knowledge of various environmental remediation technologies and chemical analysis techniques, such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and microscopy.
