Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chemist to join our team. The Chemist will be responsible for compiling comprehensive test reports, delivering public presentations, and creating informative posters. The role involves collaborating with regulatory bodies for global product registration, partnering with manufacturing teams to facilitate product commercialization, and ensuring meticulous documentation in compliance with internal quality systems. Additionally, the Chemist will revise and update laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods, spearhead formulation initiatives for new product development, and execute routine physical and chemical stability assessments.

ResponsibilitiesCompile comprehensive test reports, deliver public presentations, and create informative posters.Collaborate with regulatory bodies for global product registration.Partner with manufacturing teams to facilitate product commercialization.Ensure meticulous documentation in compliance with internal quality systems.Revise and update laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods.Spearhead formulation initiatives for new product development and enhancement of existing products.Execute routine physical and chemical stability assessments for designated projects.Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.Innovate and validate novel analytical test methods.Provide technical support for existing product lines.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Chemistry.Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.Experience in formulation development and testing.Proficiency in fundamental analytical and application testing procedures.Required understanding of lab safety and ability to work safely with chemicals.Motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results.Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically in technical writing.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred expertise with instruments such as UV/VIS spectrophotometer, HPLC, viscometer, and autotitrator.Basic knowledge of statistical analysis is preferred.Some national and international travel required (Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.Work Environment

Our facility is small, with 14 people, and the role requires spending 90% of the time in the lab, which means being on your feet. The company provides integrated solutions designed to improve production, animal welfare, and overall quality of life for dairy producers. High-quality milk production necessitates regular cleaning of the milking facility, and our high-quality detergents and cleaning agents are designed to complement the equipment to ensure an efficient cleaning routine and quality milk output.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
