What You’ll Do:

Develop new water analysis methods, with a focus on Mass Spectrometry and emerging contaminants (PFAS).Conduct laboratory research and troubleshoot technical challenges to optimize testing protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess and validate new technologies.Perform data analysis, experimental design, and reporting to improve research outcomes.Participate in fieldwork and real-world product testing to ensure industry relevance.Apply a "fail fast" approach to experimental design, iterating quickly to drive progress.Maintain meticulous laboratory records and uphold strict safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors with three (3) years’ experience, Master’s with one (1) year of experience in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.Experience: in Mass Spectroscopy is required, and emphasis on application for water analysis is preferred.Proven expertise in two chemistry fields, with emphasis on analytical, instrumentation and wet chemical methods chemistry. Analysis expertise in PFAS and emerging contaminants is highly valued.Degree of fluency in electrochemistry, general chromatography, photonics, spectroscopy.Strong experimental design, characterization, and problem-solving skills. Project Management highly desired.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write about and discuss technical concepts to various audiences.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
