Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a **Lab Technician** for a **direct-hire (permanent)** position at a chemical client in **Richmond, MO.** If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts. **Pay Rate:** $24-26/hour **Location:** Richmond, MO, United States **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, flexible day time hours (for example, can work 8:00AM-5:00PM or 10:00AM-7:00 PM) We are seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician to perform essential lab tasks, including executing quality control testing, analyzing and reporting results, and assisting in R&D and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform quality control testing and report accurate results. + Communicate findings with the Process Chemist and Plant Operators/Supervisors. + Assist with R&D and process improvement testing. + Prepare high-quality samples for customer shipment. + Maintain a clean and organized lab area. + Manage lab chemical inventory and storage. + Participate in safety and environmental training and suggest safety improvements. + Report safety incidents and participate in investigations. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. + 1-5 years of experience in an analytical lab or similar role. + Proficient in gravimetric and analytic techniques. + Knowledge of chemical manufacturing, with preference for thermoset polymer industry experience. + Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Experience with Microsoft Office; SAGE Platinum preferred.
