The Chemistry Manufacturing Associate is responsible for supporting the production of reagents under a cGMP environment for use in Cepheid in-vitro diagnostic products. This position is part of the chemistry manufacturing team and will be located onsite in Bothell Washington. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Synthesize small organic molecules and perform routine analysis using HPLC, LCMS, FTIR, UV, NMR and other analytic instruments under a GMP environment. + Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in a safe and productive manner adhering company safety policies , and procedures. Follow SOP and approved direction to clean equipment used in processes and maintain corresponding equipment logs. + Perform routing packaging of air-, moisture-, and light-sensitive materials and support staging materials for production . The essential requirements of the job include: + 3+ years laboratory experience, preferred BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry + Strong understanding of fundamental aspects of organic chemistry, and analytical techniques such as IR, LCMS, HPLC NMR, and HPLC. + Ability to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment and to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts, weekends and providing support as required. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Working knowledge of GMP regulations + Highly organized and able to work independently and effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude with minimal guidance/oversight while maintaining safe working environment and strict adhering to the Personal Protective Devices and equipment policy. The hourly rate for this role is 24.03 to 36.05. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
